feature walls
Need to redecorate your home without spending a fortune? Easiest way to spruce up your space is though a feature wall. Creating a feature wall is easy as 1, 2 or 3.
1. Picture gallery: Frame your favorite pictures/wallpaper/art with the same color frames
2. Pattern or paint: Select wallpaper or paint that matches one of the colors in your upholstery/accessories. For a contemporary look try bold color and stripes. For a traditional look try muted colors and soft floral patterns.
3. Storage wall: Fix box shelving or paint your old bookshelves with neutral colors like white and line the inside of the shelves with different colored/patterned wallpaper for a unique twist. Finish off with a display of your favorite accessories.
